中心以水产种业为蓝色“芯片”,聚焦大黄鱼、鲍鱼、对虾和海带等福建优势养殖种,开展前沿育种技术研发、培育优良新品种和构建“育繁推一体化”种业体系,同时开展智能化养殖与病害防控等先进养殖技术研发,旨在打造现代海水养殖的“福建模式”,服务于蓝色食品可持续供应。
The Center focuses on germplasm innovation of Fujian's characteristic mariculture species, including large yellow croaker, abalone, shrimp, and kelp. It conducts research on cutting-edge breeding technologies, cultivates improved new varieties, and establishes an integrated seed industry system encompassing breeding, reproduction, and promotion. Additionally, the Center carries out research on advanced aquaculture technologies such as intelligent farming and disease prevention and control. Its goal is to build a "Fujian Model" for modern mariculture and support the sustainable supply of blue food.
