SDG14 remains the most underfunded SDG yet holds immense potential for the vitality of the blue economy and carbon goals. It is important to explore approaches to an integrated and ecosystem-based ocean governance framework which is adaptive to maximize the synergies between blue economy and carbon neutrality. This event will highlight an integrated ocean governance to maximize synergies between blue growth and climate action. In collaboration with global organizations such as the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development, Xiamen University, The World Economic Forum, United Nations Global Compact, Fujian Ocean Innovation Center, and Environmental Defense Fund, among others, high-level leaders will outline strategies to align sustainable blue economy with SDG14 and net-zero goals. Cross-sector innovators will showcase partnerships in blue finance, green shipping, and nature-based solutions. The release of the CCICED-led Blue Economy Report will offer policy tools to bridge SDG14’s funding gap and advance ocean-climate synergies. Ultimately, the event underscores the urgency of science-driven governance and collaboration to unlock the ocean’s vital roles in climate mitigation and sustainable development.

虽然实现可持续发展目标14（SDG14）仍存在巨大资金缺口，但在碳中和愿景下推动可持续蓝色经济发展对于推动实现SDG14具有巨大潜力。因此，探索建立一个以生态系统为基础的综合海洋治理框架，并使其能够最大限度地协同蓝色经济和碳中和的发展和目标实现至关重要，该边会将聚焦讨论此议题。在与中国环境与发展国际合作委员会（国合会）、厦门大学、世界经济论坛、联合国全球契约组织、鹭江创新实验室、美国环保协会等全球机构的共同合作下，该边会将概述使可持续蓝色经济与SDG14和净零目标保持一致的战略。跨界参会者亦将展示在蓝色金融、绿色航运和基于自然的解决方案方面的合作伙伴关系的经验和最佳实践。此外，拟发布的国合会海洋特别政策项目组《蓝色经济报告》将为弥合SDG14的资金缺口和推进海洋与气候协同效应提供政策工具。通过此次边会的举办，旨在进一步强调科学驱动的治理与合作的紧迫性，以充分发挥海洋在减缓气候变化和可持续发展中的重要作用。
