The Fujian Institute for Sustainable Oceans (FISO) focuses on the core capability of translating scientific research into policies, standards, and services, and acts as a key bridge connecting marine governance technology development, policy implementation, and international cooperation.FISO concentrates on key areas such as the development and application of intelligent marine decision-support systems, the construction and application of databases for sustainable coastal development capacity, and the establishment and implementation of ESG evaluation indicators for the marine sector. By fostering cross-disciplinary innovation, it provides both intellectual guidance and practical tools to support national strategies, regional development, and global ocean governance, empowering the sustainable and high-quality growth of the blue economy.
